| Info! We've come to the summer break. Our next Gymkhana will be on September 19th. We caught a break for our June Gymkhana with regards to the weather. For June 20th it was rather "cool" with temps in the 90's at the start. We had a good turnout with 67 Riders. We put 5 loads of water on the arena and Jim Tunnell worked it from NOON until 5:00 PM to provide a safe surface for everyone! Thanks Jim for the hard work! Thanks to Dennise Simon & Lisa Joyce for entering the times into the computer. Willie normally does that the entire gymkhana but is back east for the summer. Also a thanks to all who volunteer. Yes I know it's required for year end awards but there are folks that step up to the plate and go above and beyond what is required..... And if you do volunteer, make sure you get your name on the sheet cause if it's not, you probably won't get credit. We did have some issues with the sound system that we need to look into. That is owned by Kiwanis and not the Saddle Club. We also had some complaints about the announcing. I think Jim said all that needs to be said about that! I am getting some undeliverable when I send out emails so if you are not getting them and want to, please send an email. Email Me Anyway, enjoy the summer! Hope it doesn't get too hot and hope we get some rain! |
